
Level 2 of Personal Protective Measures builds advanced defensive and offensive combative competencies.
All Level 2 courses are taught by Level 2 instructors with assistance from Level 1 instructors. As there are fewer Level 2 instructors in Australia, these courses are held less frequently.
All students must have successfully completed a PPM Level 1 course in order to take the Level 2 training.
PPM Level 2 Modules
1. Tactical Flashlight
Use of flashlight as both a defensive and offensive tool.
Use of flashlight to obtain a psychological and tactical advantage.
2. Collapsible Baton
Defence against concealable blunt-force weapons.
3. Advanced Edged Weapons
Defensive and offensive use of folding knives, with emphasis on using the least required force for survival.
4. Defence Against Multiple, Armed Attackers
Surviving multiple attacks from assailants using a range of weapons.
5. Transitioning Between Weapons Systems
Defensive and offensive transition between weapons systems.
6. Progressive Firearms
This module is currently not offered within Australia, however may be in the near future.
7. Precision and Tactical Driving
This module is currently not offered within Australia, however may be in the near future.
